Hungary-Philippines Exploratory Dialogue on Science and Technology Cooperation

The Embassy of Hungary in Manila and the Department of Science and Technology of the Philippines organized an Exploratory Dialogue Online Event on 28 April 2021, aiming to explore new areas of science and technology cooperation between the two countries. The event focused on three priority areas: aquaculture, space technology and science education cooperation.

The event was officially opened by Secretary Fortunato de la Peña of the Department of Science and Technology and Ambassador dr. Titanilla Tóth. Among the presenters at the event was Dr. Orsolya Ferencz, Ministerial Commissioner for Space of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary and the representatives of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE) and the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, along with representatives of 5 Hungarian space technology companies and institutions.
