Presentation of Credentials in the Federated States of Micronesia

H.E. Dr. Titanilla Tóth presented her Letter of Credence to H.E. Mr. David W. Panuelo, President of the Federated States of Micronesia on 28 October 2021. Due to the ongoing travel restrictions brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, the ceremony was held online, through video conference. Before the offical ceremony, the Ambassador held a bilateral discussion with the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of Micronesia, H.E. Mr. Kandhi A. Elieisar.

President David W. Panuelo offered his greetings to the newly appointed Ambassador of Hungary and expressed his pleasure that the country has accredited an Ambassador resident in Manila to the Federated States of Micronesia. The President remarked that the European Union, of which Hungary is a member, is an important partner of Micronesia. His Excellency President Panuelo expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of the COVID-19 pandemic in Hungary.
