Resumption of long-term visa applications

The Implementation legislation of the new Immigration Law in Hungary entered into force. Hence, appointments for long-term residence permit application submission are now open with the VFS in Makati and in Cebu. Appointments can be made here: https://visa.vfsglobal.com/phl/en/hun/   Please note that applications have to be submitted via new application forms, which can be accessed from the homepage of the Immigration of Hungary http://oif.gov.hu/index.php?lang=en by clicking on the "Residency in Hungary ” option at the top left corner. Applications submitted using the old forms will not be accepted!   The website of the Immigration of Hungary contains a brief description of each residency purpose and the list of documents to be submitted as well as the downloadable application forms. The Immigration of Hungary is continuously updating its homepage, therefore please check regularly the above mentioned homepage for new information.

The Third Session of the Hungary-Philippines Joint Committee on Economic Cooperation (JCEC) was held on 19 October 2021 in Budapest. The Committee is Co-chaired by the Deputy State Secretary for Export Development of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Mr. István Joó and the Undersecretary of the Trade Promotion Group of the Department of Trade and Industry of the Philippines, Mr. Ceferino S.
